Yes, I read Insomnia and remember that scene well. That was another very good book by King.

Insomnia
I don't know if you have read Insomnia so I won't tell you the entire story of how it is related to the Gunslinger. I will tell you a boy in the book draws a picture of a Dark Tower with a gunslinger standing in front of it and named the gunslinger Roland.

Thanks, Darkchylde
I am about a third of the way through Dreamcatcher, and it has, indeed, caught my interest. I do hope it doesn't catch my dreams! I am anxiously awaiting the November release of volume V of the Dark Tower series.
A friend of mine who has seen the Dreamcatcher movie said it was not very good. I will not see it until after I finishe the book.

Darkchylde - On matters Regarding 'King'
If you check through most of his books, they are all centred around Derry, Maine. I heard he actually created a fictitious town in which to base the majority of his books. I recently visited his official website and downloaded a map of Maine which shows all places therein - real or fictional.
A great author, Oh and by the way - you will enjoy Dreamcatcher!

Er... I mean Darkchylde (got a bit carried away)
