How is Kerry LEADING the Democrats????
I expected more from you on this issue. Kerry can't be leading the Democrats if the measure failed by a lopsided margin. As for Republican unity, well, the Republicans are united in defending the war. The Democrats know better than to defend it, but NO ONE, Republican or Democrat, has come up with a good strategy to get us out of this Republican debaucle.

You just might be right. The Democrats are split on the issue so they can't come out too good in this. Iraq will be the biggest issue in the upcoming elections and the Democrats are not going about this the correct way. It only leads one to believe Kerry is gearing up for another run at being President and needs to pander to his base to gain support. I am sure the GOP will play this debate for all it's worth.
