frienship in cyberspace can be as real as real life ones.
somtimes even deeper, and less room for mischief, for me anyway because I live half a world away, I can be as cheeky as l like, oh well just harmless fun. I have made tremendous friends here at blogit, and I am sure I could make more if I wanted to, but it is hard enough keeping up with the news... You can tell a lot about people through their writing, after a while a personality profile starts emerging. Imagination fills the gaps may be, but I think I am not too far wrong, I can capture a lot through words, other people's and my own. I also leave comments like these everywhere, just to pass the time. Some of us have no life.....

Hi.. I was also surprised after coming to blogit when I met other blogers that I would like to know in my life outside of Blogitville. Very Nice Post!

I've certainly experienced friendship here on Blogit and it came as a complete surprise to me, as I had arrived here intending only to write.  But that's the way of life.  I like it

There can be an advantage to having cyber friendships,
especially when those cyber friends become real-time friends.

very good point!
in cyberspace, we've transcended physical appearances and are mostly relating to each other through the mind (and spirit) in what we write.   Friendships with like minded people would be easy.

And most people can pull it together enough to at least seem pleasant here. Take me for example...in reality I am an unwashed, unshaven, cigar-smoking middleaged man with a beer belly. And I wear fluffy pink bunny slippers and a housedress whilst blogging!  But I appear quite pleasant here

Hi, Straightforward,
I've been fortunate enough to make some friends here as well.  I guess you never know where blogging will lead.  I didn't join it to make friends, either, but it's a nice perk.  :)
