Astraldreamer! You are absolutely right!
That particular painting of my wife's is whatever it appears to be to you. I ask her often "What is this?" and her reply is always "What is it to you?" The blue one, "In Private" is part of a series of three. The others are "The Morning" and "The Storm". All of them can be seen on her website www.sunqueenart.com Feel free to check it out and thanks for reading. Hurry back. New stuff almost every night!

I lIke Your Wife's Art

Especially the blue water one. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be anything, but it reminds me of a ballet dancer on water (or a fairy skimming a pond).

I enjoy painting as well, water colours mostly, and I have a gallery at DA.

Can you please remind me what form a Haiku is supposed to be in? I enjoyed these.

Swftfox, I didn't comment earlier, but I followed your link to your wife's
work and read her mission statement: I can see the Russian folklore imagery very clearly, but her own style and take on them.  Her costume drawings for the ballet made me think of Erte, Art Deco.  Absolutely exquisite skill.

HI NAJWA! YOU SHOULD SHOW SOME OF YOUR WORK!
My wife does oil, acrylic, gauche, water color, pastel, color pencil, pencil, pen and ink, collage. In any style! In my life I have never seen such capable diversity! O.K. Yeah, proud husband! You should hear her kids play the piano!
