One of the dearest people here is from Canada. I don't know if you have read him or not (wiley.coyote). This is someone I consider an extended family member. Canadians are a very proud people and should be very proud of their flag.

I'm glad but guilty now I've read this
It reminded me of a flag I saw in a cathedral last year in Europe, It was in poor repair and I took down the details to let the appropriate people know and then did nothing!

I feel the same way about my country's flag
I'm a proud Canadian and I'm proud to be a friend and neighbour to your wonderful country. If all countries could be such good friends - we'd have peace in the world.

Your words are powerful. I always loved military aircraft growing up. Seeing the symbol on the wing always seemed to lift me up with it, as it climbed into the great beyond.
