Afzal...
Life can be cruel, but we must carry on.  My father-in-law is in a nursing home, and a lot of the patients there would have been in an asylum in earlier days.  I look at them when we visit and can't help but wonder if I would ever be reduced to staring at the cieling and flailing my arms all day.  I guess at that point, they are beyond our everyday thougts and cares, so staring at the cieling may be just fine for them, I really hope that is the way it is.  Anything else would be awful.  Stay strong.
