My husband deals with this bs all the time and it makes me mad, but
it goes with the territory. Sometimes I have to remind him that that's the way his business works and it's not fair, but it's reality.

How frustrating for you...
Though I have know experience in this arena, I do know that often the one who is the most diligent receives the greater reward in the end. Blessings...

OI--- All a matter of priorities with such dilemmas. I've turned down
plenty of work--- and always had second thoughts afterward. But, long term, I've never regretted such decisions. On the other hand, I've stuck with a couple of low-paying gigs for reasons other payment. Again, all a matter of priorities.

I HATE it when a client tries to cut the contracted price. I've learned to charge what the market will bear, and make them sign a contract when I do the work. Otherwise, I tend to be treated to a long screed of waiting for the money. That just sucks. Don't let him take advantage of you.

WOW
that is annoying! Hang in there - I
am sure more work will come... and once you see how the little bits do
add up, you will be glad you kept with it... Unless of course it drives
you batty...
In that case, just ignore my last post!! :)
