its nice to set aside or "mark" a certain day as....
"Mothers Day", or "Fathers Day", and so on, but every day is a gift ..we should treat those who are special to us every day, in some small way....

Yes constant pampering of moms would be nice. When would moms have the
time to receive it? LOL Glad you had a good one. Nice.

Thanks for the Comments
Ms. M. I think Children's Day in June is about as close to Daughter's Day as one can get????

Sophistie
When I was a young mom (I'm an older one now!) I used to wonder what this 'one day a year' crap was all about, I mean mothers should be honored every single dang hour of every day of the year!!!! But I am but one small voice in a world of mothers, so celebration once a year it was and still is

It sounds like you are very lucky....

My business partner and his sisters...go to Mom's house to have dinner....and she is the one preparing it for them!

Pathetic.....I've told him many times he needs to appreciate here while he still has to to enjoy.

I don't see how there can be a Mother's Day, and yet ...

no Daughter's Day.  That seems like discrimination to me.
