Johnmcnab, When I play pool, I probably work up something like 100F and 5 MPH cue ball as it limps along in a direction not quite intended and any marks on the green are from my stick digging it out.

I enjoyed your post as usual.. I enjoy playing pool but I also find 9 ball to be a annoying game.

I'm the same, Azur.  If I had a table at home I wouldn't learn.  It would just be a fixture for laying things down on.  If it wasn't for this Seniors course I wouldn't learn either.

I love to have a go at pool or snooker
my mother has a table but I've never had the patience to learn properly
