Perhaps, Una ...

although, it really just depends on your particular sensitivity to pollen.

Cause the place truly is gorgeous.

Thanks, TAPS ...
That huge bush was my favorite part of the entire arboretum.

Oh, the weather was absolutely lovely, Blanche ...
today, however ... not so much.

Those kinds of guys are usually not "available", Ben ...
not that there's anything wrong with that.

posted by Mademoiselle on May 8, 2006 at 5:36 AM | link to this | reply

I'm sure that's not the case, Samhain.

It might be more enjoyable looking at these photos than actually visiting
the place.

mademoiselle
Until I enlarged the third one down, I thought it was a pile of fertilizer.   LOL   That's what old eyes and bifocals will do for a person.   After enlarging each one I definitely enjoyed your choices for display here.

Mademoiselle,
Well, aside from your mutual lack of communication, it looks like spring, there's sun and flowers.  That's a good thing.

The guys who love foliage become horticulturists and other green fingered professions. Do you know, guy florists are excellent at floral arrangements! I buy flowers from the better guys. Lol.

20 clicks are here. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Lovely. Really lovely. I love flowers, foliage, natural beauty. Not all guys hide their misery from others. I’ve been known to pin strangers to the ground and force them to listen to my miseries. Of course you wouldn’t look upon me as ‘guy’ – you would view me as a ‘geezer’. Samhain_Moon

Thank you, Microba ...
I think they really came out well.  My mother's a photographer, so I suppose I'm improving via osmosis.

It's what's known as a "planned view", fourcats ...
the landscapers had that vista specifically in mind, when they conceived the design.

i particularly like the last photo.

Thanks, scriber.

It's getting a little bushy around here, as well.

We have some guys who come around to cut and mow, though their presence is growing a little overdue.

It would still be nice, Rumored,

to do something at least one of us actually enjoyed

All things being equal, I would much prefer the Grounds for Sculpture.  Whereas my boyfriend would likely opt for Yankee Stadium.

nice pics. this has been a real allergy type season for me, too. I
am surrounded by green, never cut anything, or seldom cut.  Sometimes I have to trim the short path to my front door.

All these years I thought an arboretum was a....
restaurant..... (just kidding..:)...anywhere you can go TOGETHER is worth it.....

Oh, and thanks (for the prize) ...
Now I just need to win a hundred more times to make up for not posting the last two days.

And what makes you think it didn't, Ann?

Beautiful scenery. He might have hoped for more to happen there. Lol.

Congrats, you have the prize for the movie's guess.

Thank you, Ariala ...
that's very sweet of you to say.

Mad, that's funny (beautiful), and slightly tragic...the makings of a good
story.

I certainly believe so, Shelly.
