Hi Wiley!
The shirts are pretty.  The horse names are interesting.

...and if I could still ride a spring horse while the Derby's running, I might actually watch it.

Hi Nickie!
I got nothin' against horses.  They're pretty animals.  I just think it's silly to race them.

Yep, Whacky,
I do have that one fond Derby memory, and it took me ranting about it to remember it.

Hi there, Songbird!
I actually like horses and have been horseback riding for a long time (not now anymore, because of the injury I got last year) - but I can't say I like horse races.

So you do have some good memories about the derby!
I thought the horses were supposed to wear derby hats. Guess I am a bit confused.

Mademoiselle,
I have no clue how to pick a winning horse.  If I picked horses, I'd just go by a name I liked.  "Lawyer Ron" is kinda cute.

I'll probably just pour cat pans on Derby Day.

I'm still betting on Barbaro ...

However, judging by your chart, I like the colors of "Cause to Believe" and "Steppenwolfer" best.

Hope you enjoy your weekend, and that Derby fever doesn't dampen it too much.

P.S. You asked about the meaning of "EkaterinaTheGreat" ... actually, I just made it up.  All I did was add "TheGreat" to my own name.  I figured if I owned a horse, I should be allowed to use it for self-glorification.

C is for Claire, who wasted away.
D is for Desmond, thrown out of the sleigh.
