I agree that the games are very long, and that probably is why I don't like watching televised games much; however, I am a huge fan of the Mariners broadcast team (that is how I got into baseball) and going to stadiums. Baseball is one of the only sporting events that I have actually seen live, and I am in love (metaphorically) with it.

Passionflower, I think it would be fun to have a hurricane come by
unfortunately, here in VA we don't get them very much, and then around hurricane season I'll be going to JMU which is around 100 miles inland, so I don't think I'll get one. I'll look forward to your info about them, though all the same.

Penguine...
I am not a die hard baseball fan, the games take way too long for how many there are, but that is just me.  I also like NASCAR but the same thing goes, who has 4 hours to waste watching a bunch of guys who should be able to drive better act like road rage morons?  The road courses are the best, but they only have two.  About the Seahawks, yes the offcials smelled like yesterdays sardines, but the Seahawks should have been able to play above that, they simply lost, even though it was a great effort.  As for Hernandez, I think they are trying to get him to do something besides throw a fastball, maybe?  As for all athletes, as much as they are payed, they should be ashamed when they strike out, miss a catch or walk someone.

You live on the east coast eh???

I'm predicting that the east coast of the US will be hit by at least ONE Cat 3 {or above} hurricane during the 2006 season.

I normally write a hurricane season preparation blog when it gets a little closer to June 1st. So watch for it. It's mostly just common sense, standard info.
