Too bad. It was such a great opportunity to be a good example by reacting with grace and dignity.

Right you are, WritersBlok. The race card is too often employed by those
who have something to hide, have too inflated an ego, or are paranoid and unprepared.

Absolutely, scoop. She has allowed her ego and arrogance to erase
all common sense with regard to such a trivial matter.

Funny how, when she is about to be investigated, the good
congresswoman from Georgia feels the need to pay back a thousand dollars of taxpayer money. Hmmmm. You're right, Corbin, no shock there.

What a disgrace is right!
I can't believe she is making this into a race issue. There is no excuse for striking a police officer, unless you are defending yourself against physical danger. She should be prosecuted!

I hope she gets arrested, I am so sick and tired of the
black and white issue being thrown into everything. I don't care what color you are, if you are Muslim or Catholic, Italian or Cuban, you break the law you deal with the consequences. This could have all been avoided if she had simply apologized and showed her ID.
