Did You Consider Blacks Sitting Together by Choice?
This can only been seen from the perspective of the person of a given race, unless one has training in viewing from multiple perspectives. Societies dictate that Blacks are better off if they mix among other groups during lunch, as opposed to sitting among themselves. If they enjoy themselves in their segregated neighborhoods in church, etc., what is so unlikely about the few minutes of relaxation that they actually prefer to be with their own kind?
How many whites do you find in the group of Blacks seated together? This works both ways! Is there an easy answer, no! Should it cause further division, no. A better understanding and acceptance of the differences of others would be better and not attempts to place them as the American Indians were placed.
