I understand what you say Arley and I think you are right on in your
comments. The problem I have with that is the left won't ever admit the right has done anything correct or good. They have bashed George Bush from Day One and continue to do so. They will tell you they are moderate and see both sides of all issues and that is the fartherest thing from the truth. They spout opinion as fact and news. Pretty much all of what I say here is opinion unless I cite sources and such. I won't waver in my taking on the left head-on. I am like Rush Limbaugh in that respect. I know we should be more civil, but I am not willing to give up my views just to be called sad and moronic by the left-wingers here. They are never going to be honest and truthful in their remarks and I will fight with them each and every day they are willing to show up.

Just a few thoughts.
sarooster, I just finished reading your recent post. I've had a number of discussions with folks here and off line,and I find that too often various groups are clamoring to find the supposed moral high ground as if they were in combat against each other. I find this an alarming situation, if we can only exchange views via angry, disparaging shots at each other, we will fill the valley between ourselves with the dead and wounded and it will be unfit for anyone to enjoy.

I won't sit still and let the left put forth their side of things which I think is wrong and generally against what we should be doing. I will gig them when I have to although I think we have some wonderful bloggers on the left. They may be misguided but they are all great adversaries. I won't ever delete a comment unless someone talks bad about my dogs. That's stepping over the line.

I'm just checking in for my regular dose of spirited commentary and opinion. I guess I sound a bit like a sponge, but I relish being able to hear so many points of view and then form my own opinions. Thanks, as usual. :)

The West has always been cowardly and defeatist, especially the liberals who during World War Two were ready to hand over the world to Hitler and Stalin! "Peace in our time" proclaimed Neville Chamberlain as he returned with a scrap of paper signed by Hitler just before the Nazi dictator annexed Poland, Czechoslovakia, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, attacked Britain and plunged into Russia! The last of the hard core Marxists and Stalinists and Maoists are entrenched in our colleges and Universities. They hardly exist anywhere else! They're indoctrinating our young people!

That last comment is right on the money big time. The left claims we get up every morning and get our "talking " points from Rush Limbaugh. I had a woman at work who told me that! He comes on at 11 a.m. here in San Antonio and we can't have radios at work. So Rush gets his ideas and fodder from people like us who e-mail and generally keep him abreast of what is going on. The left does have that backwards.

Here's the deal on their constant references to the "right wing" talk show hosts........telling us what to think....
We've been thinking this for years.....with the growth of comminications, cable and radio, room was made available for a much more specific audience. We've been here all along....now, we have these so called "learned" people saying what we think for us....not vice versa.........
We're not the robots.....but the robot makers.......but the left will never get it right........(no pun intended)

I am with you on that one!
I have made up my mind to meet them head-on at all corners. I am a bit more liberal on some issues than I care to admit, but in general I am very conservative and am proud to be so. I used to be a big liberal. I have changed over the years. I will not allow the left to define the issues to their liking. I know we have talk-show hosts who are doing their best to get the truth out. I am ready to go to war. I think you feel the same way for the most part.
