Unfortunately....
The only specific thing I can point to is that this priest was fairly heavily "handled." You couldn't get near the guy - it was like he was a celebrity or something, the way his helpers guarded him. The pretext was that he was very visually impaired due to diabetes, but heck - I don't remember my father-in-law having that many people watching over him and he was blind due to diabetes himself.
