Johnmcnab
Hello.. I'm with word on paying to read you. Many times when you stop try so hard and decide to have fun the stress is releived and the thoughts come easier and perhaps the good things that you wish for will arrive at your doorstep or mailbox. I imagine your grandson is with you now, I hope you are enjoying his visit!

If you promise to make it funny,
I'll shell out my few dollars to read it.   Now that I've come back, you've wandered off.

Now, that does sound like fun!

Dave
I hope you are right Dave, but if it does bring success it will be a side product of having fun.

John, it is important to 'have fun' - and sometimes this will give success

DrJPT
You have a good outlook on life DrJPT.  I started out writing for fun and when I retired I tried to make money from it, but now that I know I can't, the weight on my shoulders is significantly less.

I Understand
People have been attempting to get me to write a book and I have continually said that it is not for me.  It was a challenge finally completing my dissertation.  I like writing for fun and on what I like.  I do not like to do on demand!  I have to get paid in another way for something I really like doing and not writing to earn money for a living!!

MerryAnne
Explosive sounds good to me, MerryAnne.  You and strat can make a dynamite couple (business, of course) and blow open the publishing world.  Call the company TNT.

Pat
It sounds too much like hard work to me, Pat, but I'll gladly take a percentage.

John,

I think it's fair to warn you that any idea that is a combination of Strat's thinking and mine... well lets just say it could be explosive!

Good luck with that next chapter!
