good post and one which I wish my in-laws would read
My friends who are Muslim are not my business partners. They are my friends. And Bush can't say the same. The only Muslim friends he has are making him money...Like him or don't like him, his alliances led to his mishandling of this affair, not his ignorance or America's racism. And the politicians up for reelection this year capitalized on it. Sad state of affairs in the US today.

kingmi - I don't agree with your latest blog heading.
"BLOGGER ACCEPTS DISSENTING OPINIONS AND DISSENTERS" - In my 5 months on Blogit I have found that as a liberal, dissenting opinions are not accepted, and regardless of the amount of research, facts, and logic I brought to my political posts, the right, for the most part, was not willing to accept any of my points, if they came from the left, or were in conflict with the accepted stand of the right. That attitude has convinced me to retire from political bloggin on Blogit. I don't give a s**t about right or left, I care about our country. I'll apply my research and passion to other blog environments. (Some bloggers here are driving away very valuable and passionate contributors.)
