Algore has never been too good at facts and figures!
Well, he seems good at making up facts and figures. The actual numbers and truth seem to give him some type of problem.

The U.S. committed "terrible abuses" against Arabs after 9/11,  Gore said.  Arabs were "indiscriminately rounded up, often on minor charges of overstaying a visa and not having a green card in proper order, and held in conditions that were just unforgivable."
According to the Arab American Anti Discrimination Committee, about 1,200 Arabs were arrested after 9/11.  Of these, 725 were held on immigration violations, 100 on unrelated criminal charges, and 360 for possible links to terrorism.
The Census Bureau says there are about three million Arabs in the United States.  The number "indiscriminately rounded up" after 9/11 is .0004 percent of that number.

You'd have thought he would have used his invention the internet to write these comments.....

Justsouno,

Thanks for that great comment. Why does a man figure he can talk down his country? How stupid is this guy? I would not accept money from Saudi Arabia to do anything. I don't have any money, but I would go without before accepting money from them. If I had to give a talk to them over there I would be killed pretty quickly because I would come out firing with both barrels.

Sarooster even Al's uncle Gore Vidal would have been a better
diplomat for the states than Al Gore is. Jimmy is senile, Al didn't begin with enough to count.

Justsouno,
What is good about Gore is he is one of the leading faces of the Democratic party. He and Jimmy Carter are the elder statesmen of the bunch and that is great for the Republicans.

Burly,
Lieberman is not a bad guy. He would govern a little more to the right than he is now so he would not be all that bad.

Sarooster, you are right. This is out and out treason. Al Gore is dangerous

Sarooster
All is not lost for the Democrats. They still have Joe Lieberman who I disagree with a lot but he's a real, steady, thoughtful patriot that I wouldn't consider my vote wasted if I cast it for him in any presidential election.

Flame,

Thanks for the read. Thanks for the comments. I just find it funny how the media treats liberals as being so intelligent and conservatives as being part of the good old boy network if they do good.

offbeats.
Thanks for the read. I still say Gore does wrong at most things he does and I think going to a foreign country and bashing your own is treasonous.

Hello again. Mr Gore has gone to Saudi Arabia to get funds as his boss Mr. Clinton did. Do you know that, Clinton is the PRO of the Saudi National Oil Company? Well since he is a Democrat it won't make waves.

What you have said is true I have heard that  several times. Bush who is a graduate of Yale is being vilified while John Kerry who is also a graduate of the same institution is being held in high esteem within liberal circles and a commanding section of the gloom and doom dominant press. The is no iota of generalisation what you have said is true. Liberals don't like opposition , all they want is that, the world should support or back them. Thank you very much my friend and God Bless.

Offbeats see now you got it
the port issue has nothing to do with Saudi Arabia just like comparing the Ted Kennedy deal to Dick Cheney...ONE has nothing to do with the other.

That's why most people call him a DROID!! He has no common sense...

And the port issues have nothing to do with loudmouth Al..

Maybe that's why he isn't a president of anything, well maybe in his own mind!

Crazy isn't it, people go crazy when Al Gore gives a speech in
Saudi Arabia but it is OK for the U.S. to sign a $6.8 billion dollar deal for Dubai Ports World to run our largest ports, go figure.
