My mother told me during the depression peanut butter and banana sandwiches were a treat. Also pickles and cheese.

wislon - Jam and mayo...argh!!!!!!
My son cooked dinner for me when he was about 7and had discovered spices. I was served fried lettuce and licorice soup. Very nasty stuff.
