I hope you get your ring back too. When I was married I used to feel
nekkid without it. Even after marriage I wear on for the sake of not having men approach , most don't if your sporting one. Sounds like your really happy and there is nothing like reading a man who is in love with his sweetheart!! Gives me hope!

Predatory men are not easy to put off. If you have a ring, or even a girl friend they just see it as a challenge. To really be safe from unwanted attention you need to cultivate facial hair - does the trick every time. In a world where anything seems possible perhaps someone might even start marketing facial wigs for for women.

Wislon,
This is all news to me, the sizing and the fitting. I wish the same thing, that like some stewardesses and waitesses who need to fend off predatory men by wearing fake rings, I've thought at times I should do the same, because I'm not really "on the market", but we're not to the ring-exchanging stage. You made me laugh with the last line, eleven years till you can fritter your cash away on vitamin supplements and open top cars.

That would be because you are younger and better looking than me.

wislon - I liked this. You made me laugh. And yes, that is a telling dent.

I've been married for three years and I quickly realized to some women, the ring means nothing. If anything, it attracts a certain type. More women hit on me now than ever before. If I knew this when I was single, I would've worn one.
