If I were here to make money
If everyone on Blogit liked everything about what I wrote, I would wonder if I'd become a Stepford wife. I write because I like to write. There are things in me that I want to express and I like that someone will read it, and perhaps understand it. But having understood it, perhaps what I've written is to bring what I feel, kicking and dragging into the sunlight to be discussed and debated and dispproved of. If I make a half a penny doing that, well, that's okay. I'm not really here to make money. If I thought I was a good enough writer, I would be seeking publication...and payment on a much broader scale than perhaps 1/10 of 1 cent, based upon whether or not someone liked what I wrote.

How about a blog review feature?
The idea of a noise filter is a good one. However, I wonder how it would be done. Who sets the standards and who decides what gets posted? How do you compensate them for their time?
It might be better to encourage Blogit to allow readers not only to vote with their portion of their fees, but also to review posts or whole blogs -- like reviews on Amazon.
And how about a discount membership that only allows reading and commenting? That might widen the readership.
