FactorFiction
Persistence or sheer stubbornness, FactorFiction?  I can't help the writing, whether it gets published or not.  Thank you.

I've decided not to give up, Taps, so you'll have to suffer more of me. Thank you.

Azur
I will ask so many questions, Azur, that they will probably throw me out.  I've discovered I can't stop my inner writing process.

Blanche_Dubois
Not only coruscated, Blanche, but I just found another word I'd never heard of - 'mephitic' .....I tried giving up but here I am again, getting ready to be knocked back.

It doesn't matter whether they like my suff or not, ginnieb, I still can't stop thinking about it and composing articles mentally.  My membership was up this week and I thought about it for a few days - but I'm still here.

Sorry, I haven't had any coffee yet
otherwise I'd be able to come up with a good quote about persistence....well most of a quote anyway. As Merinque said, many successful authors had the same problems at the beginning. And boy don't they wish they had not turned down the Stephen Kings of the world now!

I can tell that you really are tired of all the flak but hang in until you get your second wind.  Don't give up.

Enjoy the party and talk to as many people as you can including the publisher.  I  understand how you feel

Hey, anybody who knows the meaning of "coruscated" can not give up, John

Please don't think of giving up, you are very talented and there is someone out their who will recognize your worth. I have not known you very long but I have taken note of the priority that writing and wit have in your life. Many people have missed out on something great because they didn't see it when it was right there in front of them. Hang in there and don't doubt yourself or your talent. Take Care!

Yes, yes, yes John!!
No 'no's' okay???  I question the crap I write all the time but it's in the blood...you can't give up!!!!  I can't imagine not writing...and if you looked closely I'm guessing you couldn't imagine it either!  It's frustrating...for sure...but look at your friend!  It does happen!  Hang in there Mac...and hang on....no giving up okay??

don't give up - if those other agents and publishers don't see the gem you have then you don't want to work with them anyway!
