never understood it
I didn't get my ears pierced until I was 50- can't understand why people would pierce all those other body parts. Good post!

Not for me
this piercing thing and I do detest the 'I'm still young and cool look' from those who have nothing else to speak for who they are.

i agree with you mate...
i have one whole in each ear, but that's as far as I would go. Anything more is vulgar and unnatural as far as I'm concerned. I commissioned an article last year about body modification and the photographer came up with a photo of a guy who had had part of his tingue removed to look like a snake's tongue- -it was revolting!

I just plain don't like it - it seems like self harming to me.
It would nearly have to interfere with the natural flow of energy in the body. (Acupuncture points)
Don't look no good to me - but - I guess to each his own,
