Speed cameras
are too Orwellian for my taste. Great Britain is loaded with em and that's a shame.

Traffic camerss don't really seem designed to reduce the speed limit, rather than generate revenue. The sight of a cop car in the rear view mirror slows traffic, but the camera just generates a ticket and sends it, thereby generating more revenue, on which the municipalities count, I'm sure. Perhaps you should be more straight with your kids. Otherwise, they'll sense it, and suss you out!
