word.--"the characters who
wanted you to write about them so badly, and you didn't..."  That's a neat observation, and pretty much describes 90 per cent of my writing life.  Hope you had a good New Year's holiday.

hhhShelly,

I hope that writer's block doesn't hang around for long. Perhaps you could go ahead with some editing (we know a writer's work is never done) and who knows, by the time you get done, you may be raring to go again.

word....Thanks for the advice.  I am writing a novel, but unfortunaltely, I have writer's block.  I have to have everything perfect also.  I know a first draft is a "go with the flow" thing, but I find my editing my first draft all the time.

Word- I think you are right. I immerse myself in my writing and produced three booklets. Now I am on my way to produce more. Thanks for sharing.

Jimson,
That happens to all of us at some point or another.  When that happens for me, I try not to force any issue, I just wait it out.

MayB,
You'd best be doing something about them before they start talking so loudly, you can't hear yourself think. Best of everything to you!

Word.smith
My characters taunt me. Somehow I must find time between magazine articles and study projects and other work.

word--
I envy you.  Actually, I hate writing.  Ah, but I wish you a great rest of the holiday,  and a very productive New Year.
