Yes, but like my blog said, the women that were interviewed were grad students. Which means that they are pretty well educated. The smarter you are, the easier it is to run a game on an athlete or anyone else who's not as bright. I saw it first hand with my brother and his soon to be ex. And let's remember, many of these guys don't have their college degrees and a lot of the basketball players aren't educated past high school. THEY ARE NOT SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW BETTER. I went to college and I don't know if I was smart enough at that age.
Groupies in all walks of life aren't going anywhere. They will be here until the end of time, because we live in a materialistic society, because of the testosterone of the male species, and because of the smarts of the female species. It's not my world, but it's out there and ,to me, if you add it all up everyone is at fault in some way.
But once again, to each his own.

I think the groupie lifestyle is fairly pathetic, but who is really at
fault here? Without too much thought, this is how I see it. The women that become groupies usually aren't very well educated. They may not have much money. They obviously don't have careers (if they are following these guys around). And they lack self esteem (or self worth, really). Bottom line... They are willing to take what they can get.
But what's worse....these women, or the men that use them? These guys are millionaires and role models. The single ones, I can't really fault too much, but what about the married guys? Which really is worse? The "easy" female or the guy that takes advantage of her? I say... the guy should know better. He's the one with the responsibility and public image to uphold. And he's also the one that has to face his wife and kids. Yet, he doesn't have the willpower to say no? When did having money mean you're free from having morals? That's truly pathetic.
Just think, if these guys acted like responsible adults, the groupies would most likely disappear.
