You sound like you are in seventh heaven, Original, writing for a purpose every week.  I found it surprising when I first arrived in Canada to discover that I would have to clear away the snow from the mailbox or the mailman would drive right past.

O/I...better to let them know that you are out there awaiting a response, good or otherwise...nothing worse than walking the fields of limbo...you have my vote, Dear Lady.

id rather know that someone rejected my crap than be completely in the dark.

Taps...I agree as does company while shoveling. Fortunately, young son is
helping quite a bit, so I think he will be able to skip kitchen duty tonight!

jojostar...I agree that feedback is definitely helpful.
How else can we improve?

I wish my recent rejection notices would have provided a little feedback. That would have been a bit more helpful. It is extremely frustrating not hearing anything though.

I agree with A&B on this, but ARIALA would be the best one to consult with!!!

After a while you will get the
hang of how and when to ask about a scipt. Some of them seem to just disappear.

I should ask. This is all new to me.

Every place has its own schedule for informing the writers about the outcome. Try asking and then write it down.
