To Ariel70...
The beauty is, the little woman isn't a woman who has everything. She is from a humble family, oldest of six, and they are not wealthy in ANY sense of the word. After four months of being in a relationship with her, I'm still trying to gauge her likes and dislikes. I really do not want to disappoint her with a below-standard gift, or something I'D think she'd like but she'd end up never using.

Yes, the Christmas season is becoming horribly commericalized. I have an acquaintance who has a online radio show, "The Toad Elevating Moment" on dementiaradio.org, who has a hilarious rant on this subject. I hate it being Halloween and tree decorations are already out. Don't ram the season down our throats! This is why we have cranky shoppers and people on our roads-they've had it too with forced and canned holiday cheer. Just let the season happen, and you'll see TRUE holiday cheer.

Who is Tina?
Tina was my second wife until June 27th of this year (2005), after 4 years of marriage and three yrs. together before that. We met online as friends, then once my first marriage collapsed, we got together. She lied to me about her sexuality (bicurious as long as she could remember), and told me that she had been having phone sex with a pal from Everquest who lives in CA. After the fling fell through with the phone sex guy, she found a 19 yr old boy named Mikael. Tina and Mikael, now 20, were married July 8th of this year. This is her third marriage in a decade. I was Tina's second husband.

I got my younger significant other, WhiteJedi (for those of you who haven't figured it out yet) without destroying Tina's credit (she and Mikael have run up $3,000+ in bills in my name the second half of last year) or betraying the trust in a marriage.

WhiteJedi has been uncharacteristically understanding in all this-I've had women older than her, women much more learned than her, run for cover once they found out how my recent life has been. So far, the little woman has done surprisingly well with all the chaos that is my life.

Tina doesn't want to meet her, I assure you.

Dulen

Hi! We've never met before, so I say welcome to blogit.

I'm afraid the Christmas is becoming ... well, hell, let's be honest! ... it's become a bit of an ordeal, hasn't it? What can you buy for someone who's got just about everything?

We only give token presents now, and money, to spend as the recipient wants.

Interesting post. Thank you.

Good luck with your blog.
