Hi Whacky,
I don't buy stuff when I don't know what the price is. It's so embarressing to ask the price of something, realise it's too expensive and have to put it back. Just a tip, those codes can scan incorrectly. I once was alsmost charged R69.99 instead of R6.99. I always check, to be sure.
I'm interested with the library card thing - we use bar-coded library cards but before that it was pockets. The library credit card thing sounds interesting.

Whacky, If UPC's start appearing on food, I sure hope they're
tasteless! LOL.
