The IRA presented a far greater, and far more tangible threat, than any Muslim terrorist, and they was no perceived need for such draconian powers as those embodied in the Terrorism Bill.
Blair and co. evince all the attributes of other dictators, and you over there are sleepwalking into slavery. You ought to read up on the legislation to prevent money laundering/tax evasion that came out in 2002, and 2004, to see just how far you've gone down the slippery slope to slavery.
I'm so glad that I'm out of that police state that you've got over there. I live in Spain now, see?
