Hi MW....
Your Sammy is precious, and kitties always dictate what they want us to do.  They own us, doncha know.  I saw your comment in kiddo's blog about being jealous...something funny to me, the pics make me look a lot heavier than I am (and I wore black, what's up with that?  black makes me look shapeless....or that outfit did...)...anyway, but I'm not skinny, I could do to lose 20 pounds or so.  I think men love that, I never have problems meeting boys and getting into plenty of trouble (ahem, like that night....no make out pics will be posted though...no matter who, we thought that was best....).  All these super skinny women at the party and at the bars and other places I go, but it's all about confidence, being sexy (this is what I'm told), how you carry yourself.  I think there are plenty of men that like curvy women that look like women.  But, I do gotta say, kiddo is cute as a button, too.  I just wanted to tell you my feelings on this since you said what you said about that extra 25 pounds.  I bet you're beautiful.  And, you know, the more I just feel confident, the more men respond....20 pounds or not.  I forgot about that for a really long time.  I met someone at the party and I made him really nervous....and he's sort of a player....good guy though....I asked him why.  He said, "you're so confident and aggressive (in a good way)...you just had no problem letting me know who you are and you're so comfortable with yourself."  HE was a GOOD kisser.  That's all I'll say.   Well...he's not the only one.   ::: sigh ::: Don't you just love kissing?  Okay, I've written a post in your comments....but I wanted to share with you because your comments were so cute.  When my brain catches up with my body, I'll post about it.  It was fun, I had shots of tequila and kissed everyone.  Almost.   Next year, you and your hubby can come.  It's a Halloween tradition.  I don't know if this makes sense....I've been up forever....getting home was a nightmare and they still lost one of my bags.  Feel free to let me know later if this read like total gibberish.  Oh, btw, I love your cat's name.  It's my Firewoman's biological name, Sammy....Samantha.  I call her Sammy in posts. :)  Petie, my cat, stands on the edge of the tub, too, but he's so big....so far he hasn't fallen.  Fingers crossed.

Shadow

That explains it.  For the longest time, I was not going to keep him so I didn't do anything about getting him fixed...but as you can see, he decided to keep me but if he doesn't quit bring kittens to my door I don't know what I am going to do...he finds baby strays and brings them home.  He showed up last year right after I found out Carl was heading for Iraq and I kept swearing I didn't need him...well after Carl left I still wasn't keeping him as time went by I couldn't give him up, then he brought me a pregnant female cat...not sure if the babies were his or not but I got him fixed after that because it was a good bet.   Now I have two little ones that think they want to live here too, so far I have been good and not taken them in.  I am tempted to call animal control but I am afraid they will put them down.   He always brings babies home...not sure why.

MW,

Unfortunately, if you have them fixed later than normal and they actually start developing their, let's say manhood, enough to produce babies, then they will continue to stray if allowed outdoors consistently. I've had male cats that normally go no further than the fields behind the house, then others that I've found as far as 2 miles away on another farm. Shadow

Not sure about coats etc...  He was a stray when I found him.  I just had him fixed about 3 months ago, if that makes any difference.  He's always had a pretty healthy coat.   I thought he would stay home after I got him fixed but he tends to be a hunter and still prefers the field out back.

MW,

O.K., sorry, he just still looks like a unfixed kitty to me. His coat must just be going into winter mode, then too the picture is not the clearest. Shadow

Actually he is...but don't tell him he has yet to figure it out.

MW,

So he's not fixed? Kinda didn't think he was. O.K. better just say he's a nice looking kitty and your baby. Shadow

Quirky
He doesn't like it when I pet him while in the tub.  Something about just doing his hair and he doesn't want it to get wet

ROFL...I'm not sure why exactly, but I found your headline to be really funny. The picture is fuzzy but I could swear he is saying, PLEASE PET ME!!!

He is a Tom cat through and through but he is my baby.  Carl has commented about teaching the cat to wash my back.

Whacky
He seems to think he is my guard cat or something when I am in the tub

MW,

So what are you doing allowing another male to join you in the bath tub. For shame. LOL Kitty does look a little like he's been out making rounds with the ladies. Shadow

I don't know what it is about cats and bathtubs but most seem to like hanging out around the tub.
