He is. He is primarily MY cat but when Carl was home he had obviously missed him because he was all over him for the first time in his life. Quirky might be right that he is feeling my anticipation. Thanks for coming by.

How do I put this...I am affectionate with Carl, I will hug those close to me but other than that I basically am aloof as well...Sammy was the perfect animal. About once a week we both feel lovable and that's about right! LOL!

He might be a walk-in. I've only heard of that happening with humans, but that's not to say it can't happen with cats too. Boy, if it were me, I'd be rejoicing that Sammy wants to be loved instead of being aloof.

I understand what you're saying. I have a cat that usually wants nothing to do with me. Everyone once in awhile, she'll go through phases like that and I'll wonder what's going on and a few days later she'll be back to her old self. I think they just like to play games with us.
