Poor little guy sounds like he needs a lot of attention. I think a lot of owners would be surprised to find out what their dogs get up to while they're gone.

Sounds like a lonely doggie to me. Dogs are pack animals, If there's only one, they will find a way to bring attention to themselves.Imagine what he would be like if you didn't talk to him and pet him.
