I like the idea of opening all lanes going out of the city, leaving
possibly one or two for incoming traffic, jesusfreakdotcom. Hell, you could even open up the median for the rednecks. And just why the hell won't you take the FEMA job. I'm sure you're as qualified as the last guy.

And if they'd open BOTH sides of the highway next time...
I can't believe the mess in Houston from the dysfunctional evacuation. At least it wasn't something serious like a stampede for free beer. Any nominees for the next head of FEMA?? (No, I don't want the job, but thanks for asking...)
