I have some friends who went to the New Mexico State Fair. They said it was one of the more fun State Fairs that they have attended.
Of course, I don't think they had to park the car. *grin*

I don't make the fair but once every
five or six years. I was considering it this year, but haven't gained back enough stamian and strength to spend two days wandering the grounds. Since I have to drive all the way up there I will make it a two day event. There is so many things to see and do. I love all the art venues, free entertainment, Native American village and such. I've always enjoyed fairs since I was a kid on the farm in Idaho. They were the big social event of the year. My favorite exhibits at the Southeastern NM fair is the old iron. Where they have restored the old tractors and various other pieces of equipment from the past.

I love the county fair here for it's magnificent flower show--and of course one must eat a corn dog and fried zucchini...btw, I always follow people to their cars like that when stalking a parking place...lol.

This post is very good! I've been to countless fairs and have been intimidated by the Games Stalls. I spend money on food and souvenirs instead.
