Whacky, don't feel
alone here. I'm really into buying anything that looks like it might somehow organize things, but forget that you have to put some effort into it. You can't just put the thing on the desk and expect it to organize on it's own. It's to the point now thought that I'm looking for something that will organize the organizers.

sounds like the pile that I called my desk in college. I remember buying a desk for my appartment my junior year, but I never saw it again. I think my books may have swallowed it.

You won't tell ?? O.K. here goes: (keep in mind that this is a small desk)...a mouse...a book entitled "hp-getting started guide"... a beautiful piece of driftwood...a pen...scratch paper, printer, and, computer. I'd love to have an old roll-top desk just like yours!!

Surely you have a can of dogfood somewhere on your desk. Over the years certainly you have come back from the grocery and accidently wedged a can under a pile of mail or something. Therefore, you shouldn't have to make a trip into the kitchen to feed the dog. Just pop open the can and lay it down next to your desk.
By the way, you'll find a plate under that stack of file folders. *grin*
