I lived in Atlanta for nearly ten years.
There's an old saying that when the end of the world comes, it will be delayed at least four hours because the four horsemen of the apocolypse will have to do a transfer in Atlanta.
It can be aggravating, but they are pretty good about giving information -- at least they were last time I flew through there, maybe six years ago.

Well, Katrina shut Atlanta down for 36 hours which delayed everyone...don't ask me why but it's either Atlanta or someplace in TX. So now it's a wait and see when he actually gets in. He said expect Sat or Sun, though others are saying based on their travel time by tommorow night. I'll let you know when I know. We aren't given anything until they get to Atlanta for security reasons I am told.

It is a very large airport and a busy one. They do have delays as all of
them do but I saw where it and several others in the Southeast including Fl were having zero problems. They are used to getting things back into order if it is out for a while. I think it will be okay. I will pray for his safe and speedy return. BB
