In answer to your question...
I don't know, what do you think?

JJ Wilde, I was carrying no ill will toward you but I do appreciate the sentiment. Thank you

MayB,
Your response to my previous comment was well phrased.  I happened to think of my comment tonight when I saw your name, and came to offer an apologetic note for my own ''Chinese Shout.''  Sometimes I overstate to a point of being irritating.  Excuse me.   jj

MayB, sad when people behave that way...I am just now learning that it's okay to 'agree to disagree' and get on with one's life..criticism stings, and when I think it through, I usually can find some validity to another's point of view, even when I disagree...and I usually learn something about myself...

May,

RE: The post and subsequent comments:

Remember the Paul Newman movie Cool Hand Luke?
Let me quote from it:
''What we have here is a failure to communicate.''
If that doesn't quite get my point across, let me elaborate:
'' What we have here is a failure to communicate.''
If I again failed, let me re-emphasize:
''What we have here is a failure to communicate.''
Am I getting close?  jj

Majroj, very funny. No if someone doesn't read me, well all I can say is that is their loss. No just kidding. I know I am too lightweight for many here

Ariala, no I wasn't jumping to a conclusion. It happened that way.

MayB
i used to hold grudges a lot against people who argued with me, but i now see how it really keeps me from experiencing peace and friendship. it's sad when someone doesn't respond the same way after a discussion, but you have to let them sort it out.

It is difficult to know what people are really thinking...if they don't tell us!

The thought never crossed my mind! Honest!

You seem more the "read me or I'll burn down your barn"-type!

(I'm flattered. This is the first post including my nom de blog in many moons!!)

We musn't jump to the conclusion that this is what the person is doing.
Maybe they think you want them to stay away from you because they think you don't want their attention, comments or feedback.  It's a possibility, for I have felt that way.
