Midnight
Thanks so much.  We are both really excited.  He isn't sleeping so well, says he keeps waking up thinking about it.

Military_Wife,
I just read this post. All I can say is this (for lack of better words)...........God Bless You and Your Husband........one TRUE thing.............here in the good old USA................I hope his homecoming is even better than both of you anticipate it to be!!!

LOL!  I took a bath and a 4 hour nap tonight.  I only laid down on the couch for 15 minutes and I woke up 4 stinking hours later LOL!

Oh MW such a picture of excitement and joy, frantic tiredness and all that
goes with it. Wish you lived near me. I have lots of venison plus some good venison sausage. Take time for a long soak and relax before you go to meet him. BB

In his place, I'd do the same.
Why get the commercial variety when you can get is specially made?

LOL!  I was just sitting here debating that very question and kind of came to the same conclusion...figure I can do all the wierd stuff with it AFTER he is home for good.

I think you should keep your hair the color he's used to seeing it. No need to change it.

LOL!  Given your references to windex tonight, it took me a minute to realize what you talking about.  Thanks!

Good luck. That windex works okay...Used it many times.

Word.smith

sure do!  I have a candle addiction and I could not afford to keep myself in candles otherwise.

Soap, that is just a hobby that I really enjoy.  Hubby has become spoiled, he won't use anything but my cedar scented soap.

You make candles and soap?
Impressive.  Hmmm...I've never known anybody who could make those.

You know what, he probably won't care about all of that stuff. That's just stuff. But I enjoyed reading the list.

I have what is known as babyfine hair...nothing holds unless I make like donald trump with the gel.  Give me some suggestions, I want it soft but pretty...I want it all LOL!

My god, woman...
and I thought I was the supreme list maker. Kudos to you.  Forget the perm...take it from someone who worked in a salon for a very long time, they kill your hair. You can always put rollers in for the effect you want.

I haven't relaxed since he left.  I will relax for 15 days once I get him off of the plane LOL!

posted by Bel_ on August 24, 2005 at 8:48 PM | link to this | reply

sheesh wife

I didn't see a single "relax" in that post. Slow down or you'll be exhausted by the time he gets here. IMO candles always make an evening better. As for hair color...don't ask me! I don't even know what my natural color is! LOL

Take care,

Tissi Blake

I will take a breath when he steps off that plane.  Acutally, this is good for me, it keeps me busy so I don't pace.

MW--
Good golly--you're mind is racing so fast and furious..I hope you don't start hyperventilating and then I have to come put the paper bag over your head and yell at you to BREATHE!! ;-) Maybe you should start doing some deep breathing and meditation, just in case?
