LOL!!!  I am thinking if it were possible my uncle and I would have found a way...but then again, I look at my kids and I do have to wonder....

How cool is that? I'm so glad we don't have one, though, or my kids
would figure out some way to spin it off the axle!

It was basically a dump, I think I have some old pics I'll have to see if I can find them.  But it truly was a wonderful and magical place.

MW--
How unique. A cabin that revolves on an axle, plus all the other great memories of a good childhood. In that cabin you could see every view from a different angle, I'll bet. Hemlocker

MW,

My favorite childhood memory was my sanctuary. We had a large hill behind my farm to which I retreated to when conflict happened at home and to write poems and feed the deer and just be by myself. There was even a cave in the side of the hill where I had a small, but well furnished camp. Shadow

Bacon is still one of my worst guilty pleasures!

posted by Bel_ on August 21, 2005 at 9:17 PM | link to this | reply

Gee...
I remember my grandpa frying bacon on Saturday mornings and hurrying to get there before my two grubby cousins.
If I was late they'd hog it all. Great Post..but now I want bacon...maybe in the morning.

I have 15 days of simpler times coming home on the 2nd or so.

Oh to remeber the
good ol' days. I did that a lot this weekend with my dad. It was the first tikme in a while we sat and talked for a couple of hours and not once did we argue. Made me start thinking alot about my childhood and how much I miss the simpler times.
