Madame P.O I thought that was already established.  The more important question for you is whenther everyone thinks you are smart.  I think you are.  And thank you for the information.  We aren't all linguists like you.  BTW Brisbane Artist is female.

You're a girl.

Nevermind!

Dude, a "mossie" is a mosquito!
A better question for Brisbane Artist is:

When you looked at my profile ... did you think I was hot?

brisbane artist, In my recent posts there is a debate about improving

schools in America.  We used to only mean African Americans, however, we now have the dubious distinction of creating the same hostile atmosphere and making all the same mistakes for the Mexican immigrants that we did for the last fifty years of education for the blacks.  And mossies are???

Actually, my drawing instructor and I both loved tennis...
I still do. He probably not so much.

My dream had always been to appear in a certain magazine well-known for it's cartoons. And yet, ironically enough, I will appear in that same magazine in a couple months ... just not in the way I initially envisioned.

Madame P.O.

Madame P.O

'I dreamed of being a cartoonist. However, one day, my instructor dropped dead on a tennis court ... literally right in front of me (we were playing doubles). That kinda soured me on the whole artform.'

I gather your cartoon teacher liked tennis or doubled as your sports teacher?  Trouble with teaching is that one does have to be an all rounder.

I guess reading your profile that you have plenty of time left to rekindle your dream?

I like the humour of cartooning plus the opportunity to use it as a platform of empowerment.

I'll post an oldie (but a goodie) today and then start drawing some fresh stuff just for fun.

I am off to read everyone's blogs,

Jo

Hi Des

Hi Des,

"teachers teaching white kids but letting colored kids of all kinds just waste their lives? "

Hmmm? How could we make that more positive?

Any idea what motivates the coloured kids?

Which nationality do we mean when we say coloured?

Do you love teaching?

Jo

What are mossies?
Very good cartoon.  Could you draw one of teachers teaching white kids but letting colored kids of all kinds just waste their lives?

When I was little...
(like, four years ago) I dreamed of being a cartoonist. However, one day, my instructor dropped dead on a tennis court ... literally right in front of me (we were playing doubles). That kinda soured me on the whole artform.
