THE SLIMEY PUPPET WILL SKATE UNTIL 08......
GW Bush is a slimey puppet, carefully being controlled by the republican party. When they do allow him out in public, it's to flash that stupid grin, and say a few chosen words. They donkey party boys stole the election for this nimrod in 2000, and he should not have been in office from the start! He will continue to lie, and cheat his way through 2 more years, and who knows how many more American bodies will pay the price! So, as great of an idea as impeachment sounds, I'm afraid Bush will find a way to skate any charges, that come his way. Karl Rove may find a way to get by as well, even though that evil SOB I feel should be behind bars for this C.I.A. leak scandal, and other crimes. I do think someone like this Scooter Libby guy will be given up, or thrown to the wolves as a scapegoat! What a country!

The Democratic Party today is not the Democratic Party I knew when I was growing up in the blue collar city of Pittsfield, Mass during the sixties. Then the party seemed to espouse ideals and beliefs that really did matter to the people who worked in the factories and raised families. Today, though, it seems that the Democrates have become anachronistic and morally bankrupt in their philosophy. As Harry Reid demonstrates, the Dems are quick to criticize, but slow and dimwitted in suggesting alternatives or compromises. Thus failing to convince me that they still have my best interests in mind, I'll opt for someone who is cocksure about putting forth an agenda that gets things done on issues, such as social security, that are important to me.

scoop, I don't think they anticipate a big problem. Also, they are strategi
zing to get the second nominee up.  That's the one they're worried about.  I think the dems would be hurt worse now in a fillibuster over Roberts, or the second one...My point in my SBBI blog was that...there's a strategy to sending a reallywhite guy to the hill for SC ratification.  Maybe Whoopie Goldburg is next.  LOL

Kingmi this really doesn't surprise me being that Ohio is a red state
and going against the grain like he did, did not help. If Ohio was a blue state then it would be interesting. The political climates change so frequently. In NY we have had a Republican Gov. George Patki who beat Mario Cuomo, a once popular Democrat. Pataki has been in for almost twelve years but now a democrat Elliott Spitzer, the attorney general will run and polls show him way out in front.  Hillary shows big in the numbers for Prez in NY but over all Rudy Guliani looks big, you never know.
