Thanks for your lovely story on my post, I reposted it on my animal blog to
send people here to you. Hope it worked.
A friend of mine can do no work and has a never healing, temporarily healing, never healing bite on one leg and now his whole body is susceptible to little cuts which soon turn into monster things. It is all from a brown recluse bite, untreated at the emergency room one night...disbelieved.
Now his veins are messed up permanently and his blood pressure and heart and who knows what else. When he knicks his leg on a bike pedal, we all just roll our eyes in horror, knowing what will happen next in the following week, ulcerated sore, where they sometimes talk of just removing his leg, but it is a mess all over inside him.
You be careful for awhile, now I'm worried for you.

I don't think you should hold an entire race accountable...
for the sins of a single member.
I actually own tarantulas, and they are wonderful pets/cherished family members.
