If you mentioned, I missed. Good!

Majroj, did I mention that I am shortlisted for the "perfect" job? You know, the one that I kept screwing up when I was sending the details in.

I'll bet you do. They didn't just brush you off, so they're interested.

MayB,
Oh I am glad that you were given that second chance.  I hope that this works out for your best!

There's built in failure potential when you do stuff online late at night.
I sent in a job app and the intended employer never got it. I wonder who did, and if they are waiting for me somewhere??

Maerdi, I know it is like we can screw up but others can't. Thanks

Absolutely, May. Everybody struggles and everybody screws up
and for the most part, people are doing the best they are capable of to get through life. Sometimes when we've fallen from the saddle, we just need a leg up to be able to gallop off into the sunset.

MayB...
Sounds wonderful ! I hope the job works out for you !!! Now, If only I could find the perfect writing job...hmmm...that's another story...

True Maerdi. It strange how people go one way or the other. I had a year or two where I was not feeling too well and could not operate at normal pace. Since then I recognize that others may also be struggling.

Yea, May, like nobody recognizes compassion anymore.

QuirkyAlone, yes I think the "audition" sucks too. I think the portfolio of work is audition enough. It really says more about their inability to know what they want

Maerdi, I agree. It's funny how suspicious people get when you give them isn't it?

Breaks are something very human we can gift each other.

I love getting them and giving them in life.

I hate freelance jobs that make you "audition" for the part, like you're an actor or something. Catalogs always want me to do this...but I guess if it didn't take you that long, then that's all right. But how much time would you have spent with it if you hadn't been familiar with the topic?
