Joe Love, it'll be fine. They want a story that stands up rather than a story at any cost which is not accurate. It happens occasionally although I still hate it when it does.

I wouldn't want to have to call my editor and tell him/her I wasn't going to be able to get the job completed my deadline!! Yuck!

Dave Cryer, that is, metaphorically speaking, what I've done. Your comment made me smile so. In my next post I will describe which field full of bull.... that I walked through.

One of the reasons we have wars is that we all see things differently, our perceptions are all dissimilar. But its a good thing too. How boring if we all looked at something and saw it the same way, or read something and took away the same thoughts.

Park the tractor behind the cowshed and go for a walk up in the top field. Plough that field tomorrow. Or the next day.
Go down into town and drink cider with a bunch of lawyers from the city or a gaggle of poachers from the sticks.
In the morning, with your hangover sucking your brain out through your ears, take a fork and go see if you can't spike a spud from the nearest corner of the nearest field.
Then call your editor.
And always be yourself.
Except when you need to bullshit someone to feather your nest.
In your nest, you can always be yourself.

The thing about Blogit
is that it is really just a giant TV with 500 channels. Each of us trying to bring something to it, something that others can connect with. But in the long run it really is entertainment. And some of it not that great.
I enjoy your point of view MayB and connect with you far more often than I don't, but I always read.
