I really missed everyone. Funny how it is. Most of us here haven't ever been in the same room together, yet, when I left I found myself wondering about how things were going for you and if you got the hairy spider for your neighbor. Wondered if Kris had given us our pirate story, if Passion had found some hot guy to date, if Quirky had decided what to ask for from her brothers stuff and what kind of silliness Timmy was up to. Kingmi, Shadow, Steph and many others also came to mind. Yeah, I missed y'all.

Being near the mountains, no humidity, no thoughts of work muddling my brain. Just beauty all around me...And I dearly hope that there is "a" heaven. I've been thinking about a lot since my friend was murdered.

It probably gets too cold in CO for lightnin' bugs..that's what I grew up callin' them, too..the boys used to catch them and get their tails and put them on our clothes (it didn't kill them) and run around all lit up..or we would fill jars with them for lanterns in our quilt tents. Heaven is on a quilt under a Texas star-filled sky, soft breeze, perfect temperature, water sounds nearby, pine scent in the air...and a man about to stroke me and hug me and tell me he loves me more than anything in the world - the man I feel the same about....and all is just contentment...peace and contentment in my world - that is Heaven.

I miss the fireflies very much......lightning bugs is what we called them. We would wait anxiously for dark and the first glimmer.....then we would catch as many as we could........such fun!!
Heaven? .............The mountains, by a fast running stream......if it is in the fall when the aspens are changing, all that much better.

I mentioned this the other day.... my heaven is being near the ocean... on a boat or on the beach... breathing in the salt air... on a beautiful day... I could just stay there forever.
