Girly-girl, I think some would find out fun rather boring and understated but I think that is the best fun when the rest of life is a little crazy

Joe Love, I don't think we find friends we "click" with. Somehow we are found

RachelAnna, you said, "There is always something comforting about catching up with old friends. Something that brings you back in touch with yourself a bit, even if for just a moment." I could not have described it better.

Awesome!

very lovely. I understand completely...my life has been a succession of "perfect timings", and there certainly are no coincidences are there? What a wonderful experience. Things happen when they are supposed to, and usually not in ways we really understand, but we recognize the significance

Because
friends that you click with are just as hard (if not harder) to find than loves that you click with.
Tell Paris I said hello. *grin*

FactorFiction, thank you. Life makes for good stories even though it's sad what people must go through in the unfolding of them

of course it feels right.... what a beautifully poignant post! i loved it, and wanted to encourage you. you can't feel regret for not being there for her before..... you can only truly feel for today and today you are there for her, and perhaps because of the absense in the past, this time will mean so much more to each of you....

It must have been wonderful to catch up again. Sometimes with friends the length of time you have spent away from them makes no difference at all and you take up where you left off.

Sometimes you just feel what's right, rather than know it. And having done the catching up, this time you'll be able to meander side by side in an enjoyable ramble.
