Wiley, well I have stated my prescription for success: arrest the religious leaders and charge them with felonious incitement to riot, or mail order fraud. Start at the top, and failing to get big fish, start arresting the corner mosque imams.
I see this as more an assault on our civilization by mafia thugs than I do an entire civilization fighting us to retain control over their country. Another difference between now and VN, is no China offering unlimited materiele. The imamas, on the other hand, are whipping the crowd up to go there and die for their killing, and train there to kill back home. This we can manage with police.

Sadly, I think it will only end when we all get the hell out of Iraq and Afghanistan. If the west isn't prepared to do what is necessary here anymore then in VietNam, then I say get the heck out and cut the losses.
I wish somebody could explain the difference to me. So, Viet Nam is communist. Was it worth the American lives?? So, Iraq and Afghanistan want a system other than democracy, what's the problem?
C'mon teach, educate me will ya?
