i only know what i experience
i also see that millions of dollars are going to build huge monumental edifices when the money could be better spent helping the poor. Imagine how much more money would be available.
these are the tares sown in the wheat. You have to get rid of them before observers will consider your religion valid.

Well, Justsouno
I don't give millions as you mentioned, but I doubt you give millions either! Don't compare apples to oranges just to discredit me.

Suffice it to say I give; how much, how, or where is no one's business. It is my business, however, when religious sham artists incorporate under our laws to con people, and I will continue to dig at them. There are plenty such religious sham artists flying low under the Christian Flag. (Just why does Christianity need a flag, anyhow?)

The organizations you mentioned are, as you described them, exceptions. If you were to take an honest look at "Christian" organizations such as, say, "The 700 Club Ministry" or Ainsley's ministries, or any of hundreds of evangelical missions for Christ, you would be overwhelmed at the degree of shysterism ther is going on in Christ's name.

Since I really didn't mention your church or the ministries you support, I fail to see what your beef is, unless you are in agreement with those shysters I do point out in this blog, either by name or by behaviour.

Archiew and Empty just how much do either of you actually know about the

activities or lack there of in giving millions and millions of dollars and incalculable amounts of time to the poor the hungry and the sick? All without an inkling of asking back, I just received an email from a group who goes regularly from our church to all parts of the world. They are in South America now. There are six retirees, two practicing doctors and several others who go for no reason but to offer aid to the needy. They make four trips a year. In one instance they have set up businesses for women in Africa. The women make items and our people bring them back and find direct markets for these women.

One other Christian group I know gave one million pounds of food to Florida's hurricane victims last year. There were others doing the same. I just know of this one. They didn't go to get salvation slips they went to do the work of the Lord.

You both are more mouth than knowledge. What do you do or give? If you tell the truth and it is contrary to what I believe that is fine. But you espouse lies and hurtful stuff all the time. It is shameful.

pt barnum
said theres one born every minute
religious shysters seem to find them all.
its like the scammers who prey on older people with savngs accounts
they offer a million dollars for just a few thousand
and they get away with that thousand
its all the same -- people get duped because they think theyre going to get rich
people get duped because they think they are going to get saved
selfish greed leads to losing it all
